Belt cleaners
Belt cleaners are intended for removing of sticking material from the conveyor belt. It is very important to remove sticking material because it can impede single branch pass through the roller support and bend pulleys. Moreover sticking material increases belt moving resistance and reduces productivity of the conveyor and increase power inputs. For belt clearing scrapers and brushes are commonly used. We produce both types of the devices. Scrapers are installed under unloading pulley on a double-arm lever and are pressed to the belt by spring or load put on the tail arm of the lever. The removed material goes on a tray to the place of its unloading. To provide more thorough clearing of the belt, capronic or wire brushes are used. They are forced to rotate by an individual drive or from the pulley through the chain or wedge-belt gear, in the opposite direction of belt movement. Brushes are pressed to the belt by means of screw gears. If there is too much sticking material it is recommended to install both scraper and brush one by one. |
