These
conveyors are intended for transportation of bulk materials, small and middle
lump materials up to 300 mm in diameter, at the belt speed 0,8 … 4 m/s and belt
width of 400 … 2000 mm. Special conveyors with belt width of up to 3000 mm and
speed up to 8 m/s can be made. Such conveyors type are applied in the mining
industry and their productivity reaches 10000 cubic m./hour
Belt
conveyor are able to transport cargoes in horizontal and inclined directions at
the lifting angle no more than 70 %natural slope angle of a material on-the-move. For bulk and small lump
materials lifting angle does not exceed 200, and for middle lump materials – no
more than 270. To increase material lifting angle rippled (herringbone) belt or
clamping belt is applied which allows to raise lifting angle up to 350.
