Sand
sifters are intended for separation of large inclusions from the sandy bulk in
order to get homogeneous sand fraction with the set granularity. Sifters can be
troughed and drum-type. Last time our plant produces drum-type sifters as they are
the most effective and compact, and have high productivity.
Sifting
shell of the drum is made of calibrated grid or a sieve looked like sheet with
holes. The size of cells of the sieve and holes in the sheet define the quality
of sifting. However it is almost impossible to use small holes at the first
stage of sifting, since productivity decreases considerably. Therefore, it is
reasonable to use two-three phase sifting. Such sifters are set at the plants
manufacturing mortars, high-quality concrete, foam and gas concrete and other
building mixtures.
